Kidnapping, ransom and target killing are a continuous panic for people in Karachi and now the actress Sajjal Ali has also received a warning from mafia to pay illegal text of rupees 4 lakh to them.
Karachi ‘the city of lights’ has lot of opportunities for drama artists as the private channels such as Hum TV, ARY Digital, Samaa, etc. have their headquartered in Karachi only. But the city also has a high crime rate where nobody is safe.
Now after, common people, business men and politicians, celebrities are also at hit list. Recently, actress Sajjal Ali has been targeted by a Karachi mafia to pay bhatta (illegal tax). She has also been receiving death threats on phone for which she is afraid and has planned to move somewhere else.
Sajjal Ali is a youngest actress who has been doing many drama serials and is currently appearing as lead actress in drama serial “Nanhi” at Geo TV.
It is very sad to know that our entertainment industry and celebrities are also not safe in Karachi.
