On Wednesday August 1st, 2012 at the London 2012 Olympics Games Brazil will play against the New Zealand at St. James' Park — Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Brazil won all their preceding friendly and group matches, which considered them the big favorites for gold medal.
Brazil secures a world rank of 11 has produced great attacking young players that already becomes big superstars. Brazil has excellent attack with Hulk, Neymar, Damiano, Pato and these players will give a lot of troubles to opponents’ defense.
Probable Brazil line-up for match includes Neto, Rafael, Silva, Juan, Marcelo, Sandro, Romulo, Oscar, Hulk, Damiao, Neymar.
New Zealand currently ranked as 95 and has produced good defensive players along the years but other than defense team is not performing well as they lost all of their group matches. New Zealand need to beat Brazil in order to have any chance of moving ahead from the group stages of the competition. The New Zealand line up likely to play include: O'Keeffe-Payne, Smith, Nelsen, Hogg-Barbarouses, Thomas, McGlinchey, Rojas-Wood, Smeltz.
The last time these two sides met Brazil worn out New Zealand 5-0. According to statistics, Brazil is a huge favorite in this match and a convincing victory will be expected once again from them.
